Kid + Adult Collaborative Wood Type Poster Class
Create a Custom Letterpress Poster: Adult & Child Collaborative Workshop
Join us for a hands-on letterpress printing experience where a parent or guardian and a child (ages 7+) will design and print their own unique posters using our collection of vintage wood type and decorative blocks.
Each 2 person team team will:
Design a poster using our antique wood type and image collection
Print on pre-made colorful gradient backgrounds
Learn basic typesetting and letterpress printing techniques
Receive guidance from Dan, our experienced printer
Take home 12 copies of their poster design plus a special name print
Have the option to trade prints with other workshop participants
We will streamlined the process by providing a variety of pre-printed color background sheets, allowing you to focus on creative typography and content while exploring traditional letterpress techniques.
Duration: 3 1/2 hours
